The Pietzsch Awards

Wilson Pietzsch served on the Cary Players board of directors and acted in every production until his untimely death in 2006. The Pietzsch Awards, named in his honor, are designed to recognize individuals who exemplify Wilson's special blend of dedication, acting ability, volunteerism, and good humor. With these awards, Cary Players hope to build and maintain a tradition of community theater excellence for which Wilson set the standard.

The awards committee has followed the process outlined in this document and is pleased to list the following worthy candidates and winners. Congratulations to all nominees and winners. Cary Players had so much support, so much talent, and so many great people that it is impossible to recognize everyone. Please remember winners, nominees, and those not on the list at all are all appreciated for everything you have done to make our past season successful.
