A musical comedy with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner (16 songs!) and a book by John Gordon, based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his comic strip Peanuts.In this G-rated show directed by Nancy Rich (of Actors Comedy Lab) and musical director Craig Johnson, adults play the characters of Charlie, Lucy, Schroeder, Linus, Sally and of course, Snoopy. Familiar objects include blankets, doghouses, pianos, kites, psychiatric booths, baseball and the Sopwith Camel!
Seating is general admission, and may have an area in front of the stage where small audience members can stretch out on the floor and be really close to the action! Live piano and percussion will perform the music and sound effects.
We are working with Project Linus to use this show to help them in their mission of creating homemade blankets for seriously ill children. More information to come.
