DATES HELD: September 2006

LOCATION: Page Walker Arts & History Center

ABOUT THE SHOW:

In September 2006 Cary Players presented four one- act plays on two floors of the beautiful Page Walker Arts &History Center. In the main gallery, Horton Foot’s Blind Date was directed by Mark Zumbach and George Kelly’s melodrama The Flattering Word was directed by Thom Haynes. On the third floor, the classic farce The Still Alarm by George Kaufmann and the and A.R. Gurney’s clever comedy The Love Course were directed by Matt Schedler. Determined to maintain his tradition of appearing in every Cary Player’s show prior to that production, Wilson Pietzsch learned to play the violin for his cameo performance as the silent fireman in The Still Alarm.
