MEN ALWAYS LEAVE
MEN ALWAYS LEAVE
Written and Directed by Local Playwright Naima Yetunde Ince
DATES HELD: February 1 - 3, 2019
LOCATION: The Cary Theatre - 122 E. Chatham Street
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Cary Players is pleased to present Men Always Leave, an original play by local playwright Naima Yetunde Ince. Men Always Leave tells the story of family, betrayal, love, and ultimately, self-discovery. Inspired by one of Naima’s original spoken-word pieces that shares the same title, the play explores a woman’s journey to face the pains of her past to move beyond a life on hold and secure a positive future for her and her son, while discovering she is not the only one grappling with a haunting history.
Both Saturday performances will include a talk-back session after each performance in which the audience can remain in their seats and take part in an interactive discussion with the cast and crew.
Do men really always leave? Come see for yourself.
