MORNING’S AT SEVEN

MORNING’S AT SEVEN

Directed by Tim Wiest

By Paul Osborn

DATES HELD: February 2-3 & February 8-11, 2018

LOCATION: Cary Arts Center

ABOUT THE SHOW:

Two houses whose backyards adjoin set the scene for this charming portrait of small-town America of yesteryear. The Gibb sisters, Aaronetta, Ida, Cora and Esther, have always lived close and they are an open book to one another. Husbands not included.  Into the fray comes Myrtle Brown, perpetually engaged to Ida’s son, Homer. But Homer can’t seem to pop the question.  Taking matters into her own hands, Myrtle finally gets a proposal by compelling Homer to fly the nest…sort of.  A heart-warming story of love, hope and family.
