CALL FOR ONE-ACT PLAYS: Submit Your Script for a Playwriting Masterclass with Mark Harvey Levine
Cary Players is accepting submissions of one-act plays for consideration for a playwriting masterclass led by award-winning author Mark Harvey Levine. The deadline for submissions is Monday, January 19.
Up to seven scripts will be selected to be read by local actors and discussed in the workshop on Saturday, February 21, at 10:00 AM. We are seeking scripts that would be a good fit for a community theatre production with limited technical or set demands. (Focus on storytelling and character development rather than special effects or elaborate staging needs.)
This is an opportunity to have a new or evolving work evaluated, or to revisit something that you have written previously.
