Cary Players is delighted to welcome Tina Vance as the director of this funny and heartwarming play. Ms. Vance describes the play as follows:
For his entire life, Nick Cristiano and his four Italian grandparents have gathered for the traditional Sunday family dinner. However, this tradition is about change when Nick breaks the news that he’s leaving Hoboken for a job in Seattle. Determined to keep their only grandson around so he can marry and have children; the four grandparents hatch a plot so ridiculous that it has to be seen to be believed. The result is “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” – Italian style!
Playwright Joe DePietro is also the author of the long running off-Broadway hit “I Love You You’re Perfect Now Change”.
